so its been like 3 weeks and im trying to get this post together…
im gonna just make it like a coachella wrap up plus 4 weeks later cause thas how long ive been sleepin in different cities each night..
its started like this..
me and mad decent crew (i see u DJA) went out to LA for a coupla days to try and wrap up some major lazer stuff (that the dance hall project ive been workin on with switch – instead we ended up gettin drunk with mapei and listenin to lots of micheal jackson and soca rave music. but yeah we did get our lead off single done and its NUTZZZZ!!! AAHAHAHAHAHHH!
we even linked with santi and marshmello one night down town ! i see u marshmello! so i got out to coachellaville on thursday and didnt expect it to go down so crazy.. all my friends were there like 2 years ago when i first played . .. but this time they were all like headliner dudes!. hot chip, justice, erol alkan , boynoize, edbanger doods, black lips, atruk and kid sis and floss, prince (not really my friend), yelle, manman, dan deacon, bonde do role, and m.i.a. and crew.. i mean .. these are all like my family – used to be buzzband fruitcakes from bottom line NME 2 yrs ago crew. but now we r like the dudes in charge. its crazy.! arg
i played on friday and i cant believe how stupid it was. we had an error (i see u cullen) with one of squiggly mad decent dancers but it got goin and so did all the giant balloon thingys (big up to my fans for throwin them at me!) one actually knocked the record off when I played Burial track.. but im a champ and i kept movin.. Mia was a surprise guest (even to me) and jumped on stage and then off pretty quickly and i was really happy with the show. after that i just started to get crazy. and drank most of santi’s rider (she played the same time as me! doh!) anyway highlites of coachella was hot chip (killin it)
aphex twin signin a piece of chewin gum for me.. mia! yo if u hate on that show .you hate yourself.. even though it was a sloppy crazy mess and she even forgot some lyrics.. the tension and mad ness (kids hangin form rafters cellphone lights in the tent! stage full of fools (i see u rye rye!).. that was all tension and mess and chaos which is just what MIA is anyway.. she shoulda been on main stage if ya ask me tho.. some party where i got to hangout with kavinsy (hes the best),… kraftwerk on mushrooms.. um i forgot what else happend. .. big shout out to the sunshine.. oh yeah and switch shoplifting a whole keg form minimart .. he actually yelled out “Im stealin this” before he walked out but i dont think anyone cared. big shout out to diana and TOy and my monterrey crew too. and thas it.. heres this Edit of my old work over track i made.. its a total bite of that boyznoize para one track but no one gave it to me so I just made it myself !

mapei and I caught a flight (barley) to norway (bergen) where i played in a cafeteria with buraka , flossy, and atruk.. we all killed it and then me and atrak went on to do a coupla shows together.
we went to manchester where me and atrak and switch all did wippets in a closet at some kids house.. not even playin atrak WAS MAD DRunK!!! awesome!
next day i think i went to nottingham.. me, annie mac and boy 8 bit lit it up! annie mac went hard.! homegirl was crowd surfing! the ceilings were only 8 feet high. so I as well lit it up . but i had to start with like hard core UKG and crazy stuffs.. i did my thing tho i wasnt mad. boy 8 bit played his crazy mix of XR2 where he got rid of all the vocals and play the horns for 20 minutes! this festival was cool. there i got to hang with skream and jesse rose (who drank all my vodka) .. skream STRAIGHT kills it.. it was like all these shirtless thugs (and some girls) moving in zombie waves to straight bass.. dude only does drop mixes. mad cool ..
next show in sweden–
got to hang with benzi! hes not just a computer program! DJ HAL 9000 ! in fact he kinda tall.. donnis was there too .. rappin over creator and paper planes on stage.. attention blogs! hes the krunk WALE! also looks like a lil TI .. btw the stage had two giant flame throwers which really scared me and i think i set that big teddy bear on fire, the rumble keeps gettin wierder! i was not mad at the girls at the party which came out strong in the swedish springtime.
last 5 minutes were kinda wierd as iwas told .. u got 5 minutes more! so i played slayer/beastie boys/elvis medly that left boy8bit fallin off stage
next day was some other place i cant remember . then Rome (check out my dudez @ http://www.deepsession.info/) then me and boy 8 bit and mapei again went down to paris to mash it up.. big shout to the booty dude forget thier name but those dudes were the coolest DJs to play with .. all kinds of juke and getto tech and madness.. some and romane the french spike jonz came thru .. so did bobmo who was drunk and loves the blackips.. he also found a skateboard in the club and did a heel flip on stage! that was one of the best parties of this trip. just felt good ..
more paris picturesthen i went to berlin to play with daniel hacksman and my man from suriname DJ wix… WIx YO HOOK ME UP WITH THAT DUTCH JUNGLE HEAT SON! that was my first party in berlin.. proper. we got to eat african food with boyznoiz and pedro and boyznoiz girlfriends giant dog.. then went to tear up the club.
the formula one sound/lighting system went kinda of mad on me for a while spittin strobes on my head. but other than that it was cool and i played technoface by marc houle but no one got it!
go get that new release from dan the hacksman from his label MAN!!!!! the artwork is from our party in prazeres last year!!!! !FAVELA ON BLAST FOOLS!
then i was out to Bern swizzerland.. for wildlife party.. that wsa MAd fun. reggae party.. roundtable knights was there and I got to a 3o minutes 50’s set at the end real dancehall style.. those dudes are really cool. ive been to bern 3 times now and its cool to see how a scene develops from me sleepin on roundtable knights floor.. to them playing the big euro festivals 3 yrs later.. all i gotta say is support the scenes that support u!

but damn i waas happy to get back to ldn to rest after 6 straight nights in different cities..

monday night i did a taped show with kissy sell out.. that dude is cool!. then linked with annie maca and we all went to the other side of town where it was santi release at old blue last = best SHITTY BAR in ldn.. she rules and dj marshmello had a fantstic opening set.. smiths, lee perry.. shit like that .. im wit it! black lips and mark ronson and herve and sindin showed up with and showed support and then we all went down to a diner and had a birthday party for deseree! (who lied about her birthday) then tom hanks came on TV and gave her a shout out..
next day i called skream like 50 times tryin to arrange a meeting answer my fone call motherfucker! then i went out to dj for my boy louie radio promo show thing in .s.e. london (see the podcast)
i mean it was a sponsored thing by deisel. but they actually had a low watt fm transmiter all around east london so it kinda was like pirate.. i mean they let me actually play for 2 hours with mad curse words and let me call all my friends on the air (only blaqstarr actually answered).. then they gave me food and mojitos so i wasnt mad – “big shoutout to veggie burger and salad in the building” people actually called in and made requests.. nick tha V saw me live on tha interneT too! i got to play new juke , new PRGs, madness, psych stuff.. souljah boy over micheal jackson.. new diplo /crookers remixes..
the next night was blklips at 100 club and i played thier after party at the black gardenia.. which was awesomest party ever . i played with the dude from primal scream .. who rocked all this mad rockabilly and then i played one hour of all 72 bpm krunk hits with no needles and everyone was jumping .. i think i was with all 8 british people that knew the lyrics to “rock yo hips” .. santis dancer Desree and Hope (big shout out to hope, who back in the day was my boss at gorilla films!) were smashing the dancefloor.. after the party.. we went to some other bar and got took over by paperazzi as we ended up in the same alley as amy winhouse X babyshamblezface! was nuts. cole from the blacklips jumped on the hood of her car with his pants off! good job! we tried to get in the pictures but the paperazzi was not havin us.. these dudes are the best . . the set was so dumb. i started with “dopeboi magic” and ended with “move bitch” hour and half later..

i went to sleep and then djed the next night with hot ship at hoxton bar and grill for stag and dagger fest..hot chip killed it before I went on! they played inst of shake a fist on CD and sang it live! WTF! then thier boy rhymed over the bonus beats..heres a version of wiley that they were jammin on BBC all week

yo i came on and there was only one needle, joe and alexis left! so I djed with internal mode/right ttable only for hour and half.. kinda weak! but the kids were hype and none of my friends could get in… etc.. but Fake blood was there. i saw him! i also played his new remix of LIL boots.. now i just landed in kuala lumpur.. i bought the shittiest digital camera of all time – i mean i cant really dj in indonesia without takin some fotos i guess. plus im trying to keep this blog moving! paul where u at dude!
tonight im playin with basement jaxx and MANDY in jakarta WHUT! i think its gonna be mad.. plus i got all these get mad t shirts to give away .. but malaysian airlines is not feelin me! they lost em! WTF! meeting with this cool band here too and riding on a komodo dragon! holla back!

also I already lost my digital camera! i had some awesome pics of jakartan words gone wrong like Cat Oven ! and the street signs! one was just a big exclamation point !i also went shoppin and found this indonesian record by the Steps.. where they covered “you showed me” and “Champ” but instead of champ they said “STEPS!” also my girl liz hydethia from the lovely poly pony crew took me out and bought me a cd for 10,000.00! heres a lil story bout it

so again .. i played with basement jaxx and MANDY and rub and tug (and naughty by nature … wtf?).. they had these girls dancin on stage during my set .. some kinda of jakarta samba dancerss. i took this ARTy picture of them in thier backstage (shippin container)OK SO I DIDNT POST THIS YET but now im in singapore.. and basically this whole pos just occureded that it is just me name droppin all over the place, but i dont give a fuck! tonight i hooked up with steve aoki, my dawg who djs 5 nights a week in different countries and i think uses a teleporter .. hes never not out .. and the minute he found out i was gonna be in town he hit me up.. plus the dude runs asia i think man. hes like bouncin round from korea to tapei to shanghai to wu tang. i dunno. tonight was a big party on some old colonial ground that giles peterson hosted. tonight I did maybe my best set.. i gave away a shit load of get mad tshirts to all the cute girls that were dancin in the front row – cute girls send me those pics YO! (ps singapore is full of white people)
i was goin crazy from party shit to minimal to hip hop to wierdo stuff and droppin lazers everywhere. giles was feelin it and he asked me to play with him on the mainstage later.. (with alhaca&stereotype / cut chemist/ and karyzma!!!) for those that dont know karyzma is a big dawg in the house game still.. hes in UK all month doin shows.. but i only knew the dude as an ol school bmore club producer (with the sickest breakbeats).. hes mad humble and i left him with that old blu moon record and he mixed in with some new shool karyzma protohouse thing,.. was bangin .. heres an old track I dug up by him the original of work (it must have ben recorded in all warped) .. but thas how records do! so I did a lil set of ragga and elvis and made the giles peterson crew kinda confused .

this other girl played here too .. shes from KL.. malaysia son! her names arabyrd.. every one was like this that next shit.. she was nice enough to give me a demo and invite me to her barbeque tommorow (this one is produced by Al haca- those are my dudes in austria keepin it underground!- get it?)

anyway i had some get mad girls there from new zealand that were with me on the set the whole night jammin and all my singaporian crew. .. including my girl form K.L. that performed earlier in the day,. her name is arabyrd and she had a pretty crazy flow.. the track was done by Al Haca.. who also kiled it in the last set .. i had to follow them in the last set and they were jammin their own mixes and space soca form africa and I just looked at cut chemist like WTF am i supposed to do? .. next mornin I went to the fake plastic beach (which was kinda awesome) went to barbeque that night ad hen flew to newark for 22 hours and watch the last lost and there will be blood like 38 times, now im home…
alright now I gotta get back to work
