if u didnt already get on my tweet u may not know I camped down in new orleans this xmas to grind in the birth of baby jesus..
yes I was all about gettin to know the locals at club passions and other parishes.. went round to baton rouge and south to houma – and des allemands, jean lefitte lookin for that club fangtasia from tru blood… but couldnt find it.. i did try all the local pralines, fish sanwiches and gator tail and sweet tea.. i Even hung out with Dr Jon and lil Boosie! yeah cant get much more local .. if u wanna get into more detail on the trip . go see my old twitts! www.twitter.com/diplo
just walkin around french quarter or one of the other wards has a constant wall of sound always on blast.. weathers its the stream of electricity from the top wires (its really too loud!) or kids runnin in the streets or the street cars screaching up canal.. i always tried to record a lot of found sound but this black berry has crappy mic.. instead I took a pic of this beat up mike tyson statue that was tied to a pole in houma where i had terrible gumbo . i dont know what its supposed to be.
in baton rouge I went to see boosie webbie and all the trill folks at trill days of christmas.. they were all performing at the courtyard at Sears! we got there way too late but managed to get a bunch of baloons and then went to harass boosie while he was shopping at 80 stitches in the Mall.. he looked annoyed to have to get another picture with random white bol at the mall.. but just look how happy he was to hang out with Kazu.. my japanese Cajun homey! yeah its cause KAzu is famous in Louisiana.. had the first japanese bounce hit (produced by me) and hes a local hero in the baton rouge malls…
so boosie was mad honored to hang with kazu (and dj brice nice) – brice looks like hes some kinda giant
kazu is crazy i duno why he is in new orleans.. hes just says tokyo is too fast and im lazy .. so i like nola better.. (ok!) and he likes to fish behind his house in the bayou when hes not rappin or Djin at local spots downtown nola..
heres the song I made with him thats either named sushi chop or bounce on that yoshi.. i dunno yet . u can title it
later dunno what night i went to some strip club to buy the new black and mild cd.. i want to post the Monkey Pt 2 track from it. but its embarassingly similiar to suchi chop so instead ill give u this leona lewis bounce mix (ha u aint winnin the grammy!)

we tried to go to see gotti boy chris on friday.. but no one was drivin me to west bank ! bastards.. thats it for now.. met some nice folks.. had a nice holida.. but had to go to atlanta after just a few days …
hung with my black lip homies and deerhunters.. i found out at a karaoke that im related to bradford cox…! w.t.f. cole killed karoake with a hip hop tamborine man cover .. even got to put the mic in the monitor to give it some feedback! yeh!
