This is a Po Po invasion. Zeb, Hassan and Shoaib – 3 brothers from Philly who jam the fuck out on bass, guitar and drums- have been our buds for a minute. They first met Diplo down in Atlanta when he was playing those Dark Meat shows- he liked them so much he lit a huge firework off on stage, did the wind up, smoke got in everybody’s face and he got thrown out of the club.
Back in Philly, the Po Po bros have been holding down the MD 20/20 basketball team, late night practice sessions at the mausoleum with DJA, remote control car obstacle courses and all that, but now we are prepping up for the serious shit and we’ve got their debut 7″ available for pre-order! Ships March 10 on red vinyl. You can check them out March 6 in Philly at the official 7″ release party, playing Johnny Brenda’s with The Black Lips – tix available here.
