We just got word that the “Pon De Floor” video is almost in total completion, yaaa!!! So to hold you over until then here’s the acapella version from the same doods that did day n nite acapella version little while back.

i just want to say that i love major lazer!
but i think my cd must be broken. on the back it says “what u like ft. amanda blank” but when i play the song, theres no amanda amazingness at all. i hear a little crackle at the end of the song that i guess could be her? but i’m still confused. also, wasn’t m.i.a. supposed to be on it? and possibly kelis? i remember seeing an image posted on this blog of the tracklisting for the album and it looked like both of their names were on the board. what happened?!
im not disappointed, but come on! how much better would the album have been if kelis was on it!

yeah…looks like miz blank has a very small role in ‘what u like’…about 20 seconds worth of sound enhanced vocals hidden at the end of the track…as for m.i.a. well chick already has her hand in just about everything these days sooo it’s prolly good she sat this one out…new talent is always appreciated!!!

that vinnie take off of pon de floor is mad funny. i thought day & night was good but this one is hilarious, reminds me of the times crew & i just got ridiculously boozed & tried singing the chorus, only to find ourselves choking for air…
