KERPLUNK!

Yo I havent posted on here for ages, Ive been away taking long walks in the park, contemplating life, writing poetry and generally growing as a person….
But I just wanted to take a little time out from that to post up a remix I did recently of Maximo Park’s “Lets Get Clinical”
Its quite a weird remix, not really a club thing….
I had a little idea for a new sound which ive been messing about with lately, Ive been calling it Kerplunk…..Because it reminds me of the old school game when all the marbles fall out
this is one of the first few Kerplunk tracks I did, its kinda more of a cover than a remix, if you hunt down the original on youtube you’ll see I kept the original structure & re played a lot of the notes…..but in a Kerplunk style
Its just a bit of fun really, I’m still kinda developing the idea. Maybe I’ll bust out a little Kerplunk EP in the near future…..

If you are into Maximo Park, Warp Records are just about to release a neon green sleeved remix vinyl called “twelve” which features remixes from a load of good producers including Martyn & Tom Middleton. I had a little listen to it today & its Megawickedawesome
