In advance of Bonde Do Role's upcoming BRAND NEW material (single and video coming soon!), we have a big batch of castaways, b-sides and alternates from their first album "With Lazers." Commentary from Bonde below:

We know we’ll never have a deluxe edition of our first record, so  we’re doing it ourselves! Just burn this and add it to your “With Lasers” record! All these songs were done in the pre-with lasers era, with Marina still being in the band.  Most of these tracks are embarrassing, but with those, we learned a valuable lesson: there’s things you should NEVER put on tape!

As for b-sides, since they were properly released, go grab them on 4shared or something!

Sobe o Som (prod by Bonde do Role): Originally on “Baterias do Poder”, we took it out last minute ‘cos we thought it could go nicely on the record - but being basically one big sample, we had to take it out. Vocals by Pedro and Thais (Pedro’s ex gf).

Bicha Velha (prod by Diplo/Bonde do Role) • Brazilian Wax (prod by Diplo/Bonde do Role) • Jerky Beef (prod by DJ Chernobyl/Diplo/Bonde do Role): These 3 are the first original songs we did right after “Baterias do Poder” (our first and only concept record so far), we spent about 5 days in Rio working with Diplo and right after these sessions he realized that we had the humour of 13 year olds learning what “queefing” was, so he made
us promise not to sing anything stupid in English, just Portuguese!

Solta o Frango demo in english (prod by Diplo/Bonde do Role): Back in the day we had the ambition to sing in english, but we just were not ready yet, as you can hear in this incredibly farfetched version.

Ps: what we have just done by releasing “with blasers” in the “bands  world” pretty much can be described as social suicide (or musical even),but just like we feel there is an uniqueness to every teenager that matches clothes with their mother and is out and about rocking his socks and not giving a flying fuck that he’s actually wearing a pink jumper made out of plush with a chubby carebear printed on his chest, we stand strong… Thanks.
